Tal vez mejor título para este disco fuera Indifferent, que es como te deja cuando lo has escuchado.

Le das otra oportunidad, sí, hay que dársela, son ellos, The Used...

Se la das y efectivamente, el título que acabo de proponer gana fuerza.

Abrimos con Empty With You... que presagia como ellos mismos anunciaron, un disco más crudo, con más energía, similar a aquel ya remoto primer disco y joder, crudo está, tanto que sabe mal.

Bueno, tras ese soplo de energía que supone el primer corte, nos perdemos por un tema indiferente como es Born To Quit y llegamos a la balada Kissing You Goodbye, que catalogaremos como un quiero y no puedo ser November Rain de Axl & Company.

El efectivismo de esta canción junto a las melodías repetitivas lo encontramos a lo largo del disco, lo que me lleva a pensar que la composición de los temas está lejana a la inspiración de sus discos anteriores y más cercana al declive del emo, que agoniza a nivel creativo.

Finalmente podemos destacar temas como On The Cross, que posee un cierto encanto y nos remite a su anterior Lies For The Liars, Men Are All The Same y poco más.

En definitiva Indifferent, perdón, Artwork te dejarán más frío que un baño en los lagos de Yukon.

Maybe Indifferent would be a better title for this album, as that’s the way it leaves you once you’ve heard it.

You give it another chance, yes, you must do it, it’s them, The Used…

You give it to them, and exactly, the title I’ve just proposed becomes a stronger option.

We start with Empty With You… that prepares us, just the way they announced, a less produced album, with more energy, similar to that first album and, damn, it is less produced, so much that I feel sorry for it.

Well, alter this blow of energy of the first break, we get lost in such an indifferent song like Born To Quit, and we arrive to the first ballad Kissing You Goodbye, which we will classify as a November Rain by Axl & Company wannabe.

The epic tone of this song and the repetitive melodies throughout the whole album makes me think that the composition of the themes are far away from the inspiration of the previous albums and nearer to the decline of emo, which is creatively dying.

Finally, we can highlight songs like On The Cross, that possesses some kind of charm and sends us back to their preceding Lies For The Liars, Men are All The Same and not much more.

In short, Indifference, sorry, Artwork will leave you colder than a swim in the lakes of Yukon.
